trend report, june 08
2 major fluctuations since october; food is making headlines in the news and the searches for love increased quite a bit… the downward trend in art and business continues, whereas the mentioning of freedom and business continues to slightly increase in news articles. tags:, , ,

consume less stuff

Monday, February 25th, 2008

recycle your trash and recycle your government, is one of many good and environmental-friendly advices on storyofstuff.com.

the story of stuff - consume smarter, consume less

i found the site through toothlesstiger.net - run by henriette weber, who advocates no noise marketing, and encourages businesses to embrace the chaos of personal relationships, instead of relying on traditional ad campaigns.

consume less! is the message. this will be top-of-mind once i start to build noochi’s product catalogue. consuming smarter is equal to consuming less. and to add a little zen to this: Coming empty-handed, going empty-handed — that is human. (thank you, mr. lee, for the article. i will try not to mis-use the concept of zen again, but it is such a lovely, lovely word)tags:, ,

rock steady interest for…

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

love and food remain of steady interest to the crowds, whereas the interest for art and business decline (or these areas embraced the long tail and made folks more specific)… freedom doesn’t seem to be as popular as i would have expected. Perhaps it is more sought-after offline? crowd wisdom does not always rule.tags:, , , ,
